Dawkins had an alter ego on the field, the “Weapon X” persona fans mythologized. Jed noticed how Dawkins prepared like a character, not just like an athlete.

Then, on a first play responsibility, his job was clear: block the strong safety. And that strong safety was Brian Dawkins.
